For most people, finding the right home in Jacksonville, Alabama is just the first step. Finding the right financing to buy a home is essential to make the home purchase occur! A home buyer has a choice of local mortgage lenders and national lenders advertising on the Web. Home buyers have more personal service, and the mortgage companies have a better relationship with appraisers and other real estate professionals. Ask about adjustable rate loans if you are guaranteed to be relocated out of Jacksonville within the next 5 years. I had a friend who found a 40 year adjustable with 5 year fixed rate. He knew that he had guaranteed relocation buy-out at the end of his assignment so he wasn’t worried about building equity. He ended up paying less than half in a mortgage payment than he would have paid in rent! Short on cash? There are many mortgage lenders in Jacksonville that now offer 100% financing – no down payment certainly helps keep moving expenses down!
Jacksonville offers Brother's Bar, where the Allman Bros. once played in the 1970s and which boosts local musicians. There is another bar, Pelham's (formerly Fuller's, Gaterz, and the Galley Tavern,) where JSU students often frequent. Both of these line the city square in the middle of town. Harvest Moon, a specialty gift store, is a unique addition on the south end of Jacksonville off Highway 21. The Purple Store has a bunch of cheap clothes and is open Thurs, Fri., and Sat. CD CELLAR and COSMIC DEBRIS are located in nearby Lenlock and Oxford, respectively. Also, the Quintard Mall, located in nearby Anniston, has a wide variety of clothing stores, a food court and many nearby restaurants, and a movie theater. Jacksonville has a large Wal-Mart, but it is often crowded, and it would be better to shop elsewhere on the weekends. The Houston Cole Library, JSU's library, is 13 stories tall and is the tallest academic building in the state of Alabama. -- Source: Wikipedia.com AskMe a Question About Jacksonville, AlabamaTo ask a question or make a comment about Jacksonville, Alabama Click Here.
